There’s just something about an EPCOT day that feels different. Maybe it’s wandering from country to country without ever leaving Florida, or maybe it’s the excuse to slow down, try something new, and spend the day making memories with family and friends.

One of our favorite ways to experience World Showcase is by “Drinking Around the World.” Whether you make it to all eleven countries or just enjoy a few favorites, it’s one of those EPCOT traditions that makes every trip feel special.

Start Slow and Enjoy the Journey

The biggest mistake people make is treating Drinking Around the World like a race. Trust me—it's much more fun when you take your time.

World Showcase opens later than the rest of the park, so spend the morning enjoying attractions before making your way toward Mexico. We like to start around lunchtime and take our time throughout the afternoon and evening.

Our Favorite Drink Stops

🇲🇽 Mexico

Mexico is the classic starting point. The frozen margaritas at La Cava del Tequila are popular for a reason and make a refreshing first stop. Our personal favorite at LaCava is the Avocado. It's a must try.

🇳🇴 Norway

If you're looking for something lighter, Norway offers unique beers and frozen cocktails. It’s a great stop before continuing around the lagoon. The viking coffee is always a hit.

🇨🇳 China

The Tipsy Ducks in Love cocktail has become a fan favorite, and after trying it ourselves, we understand why. It’s one of the most unique drinks in World Showcase.

🇩🇪 Germany

Germany is all about beer. Grab a cold lager and enjoy some pretzel bread or caramel popcorn while taking in the atmosphere. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I usually just take a sips of my husband's drink. He always goes for Schöfferhofer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen.

🇮🇹 Italy

Italy feels like a mini vacation inside your vacation. A glass of wine or an Italian margarita pairs perfectly with the beautiful pavilion and evening views. My personal favorite is Rosa Regale.

🇺🇸 American Adventure

Take a break, cool off, and enjoy some live entertainment before heading toward Japan. We always grab a Moonshine Cocktail from Regale Eagle, but beware of this one. It can be quite strong.

🇯🇵 Japan

Japan offers sake, beer, and some of our favorite snacks. It’s also one of the prettiest pavilions to explore. We usually opt for the Violet Sake.

🇲🇦 Morocco

Morocco often gets overlooked, but the cocktails here are surprisingly good and the pavilion is gorgeous at sunset. We like to head to Spice Road. It has a unique feel and the Sahara Spritz is very refreshing. 

🇫🇷 France

France is one of our favorite stops. Pair a frozen Grand Marnier slush with pastries from Les Halles and enjoy one of the best atmospheres in EPCOT. This is one of my favorite drinks in all of EPCOT. I get it each time I go.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom

Grab a pint and relax while listening to live music. The UK pavilion always feels lively and fun in the evening.  The Rose and Crown Pub is always fun and my husband will grab a Guinness, which I will only have a sip of.

🇨🇦 Canada

Finish strong with a Canadian beer  and enjoy the views around World Showcase Lagoon.

Make It More Fun with Temporary Tattoos

One of our favorite ways to make Drinking Around the World even more memorable is using temporary tattoos as a passport. Before heading into World Showcase, we apply a small checklist tattoo with all eleven countries and mark each one off as we go.

It turns the day into a fun challenge, makes for great photos, and always starts conversations with other EPCOT fans along the way. Plus, unlike paper passports, you never have to worry about losing them halfway through the day.

Whether you're celebrating Food & Wine Festival, on a girls' trip, or just spending a day with friends, the tattoos add a little extra fun and become part of the memories. By the end of the night, looking down and seeing every country checked off is almost as satisfying as making it all the way around World Showcase.

And trust us—those tattoo photos at the end of the night make some of the best Instagram memories.

Share Drinks

Ordering one drink per country can be a lot. Sharing drinks lets you try more while keeping the experience fun.

Eat Throughout the Day

Festival booths and quick-service snacks are part of the experience. Pretzels, fish and chips, pastries, and festival food help keep everyone going.

Stay Hydrated

Alternate drinks with water. Florida heat and walking miles around EPCOT make hydration essential.

Don’t Feel Like You Have to Finish All Eleven Countries

Some trips we make it all the way around. Other times we stop after six or seven countries and simply enjoy the atmosphere. There’s no wrong way to do it.

Make It Part of the Memories

Some of our favorite EPCOT photos have come from World Showcase days—laughing with friends, watching the sunset over the lagoon, and finding new favorite drinks along the way.
