If fall at Walt Disney World is on your bucket list, there's one event that deserves a spot at the very top—Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
This separately ticketed event transforms Magic Kingdom into a family-friendly Halloween celebration filled with exclusive entertainment, trick-or-treating, rare characters, limited-edition merchandise, and some seriously fun seasonal snacks.
Disney has already announced several exciting additions for the 2026 party, and if you're planning a fall vacation, here's everything you need to know before tickets—and the most popular party dates—sell out.
What's New for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2026
While many fan-favorite experiences are returning, Disney has introduced a few new reasons to attend this year.
New Stitch Dance Party
One of the biggest additions is an all-new dance party in Tomorrowland featuring Stitch, along with appearances from Lilo and Angel. If you're traveling with younger kids—or you're simply a Stitch fan—this will be a fun new stop during the evening.
Returning Entertainment
Several iconic party experiences are returning, including:
-
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
-
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks
-
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
-
Cadaver Dans
-
Rare character meet-and-greets
-
Trick-or-treat trails throughout Magic Kingdom
These shows alone are worth the price of admission for many Disney fans.
Specialty Halloween Food (So Far)
Disney has only released a preview of this year's party-exclusive treats, but a few items have already caught our attention.
🎃 Minnie Witch Hat

Location: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café
A sweet dessert inspired by Minnie's Halloween style that is almost too cute to eat.
💀 Bowl of Bones
Location: The Friar's Nook
A savory comfort-food option that's perfect if you're looking for something more filling between parade and fireworks.
🍗 Buzzard Wings
Location: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café
A Halloween-themed wing dish that should be a hit for anyone wanting something savory instead of another cupcake.
Disney has confirmed that many more specialty food items will be announced closer to the start of the party season, so expect an even larger Foodie Guide before August. Look for my flog totally dedicated to all the new food items for Halloween this year.

Tips for First-Time Visitors
If this is your first party, here are a few recommendations:
Arrive Early
Party guests can usually enter Magic Kingdom several hours before the official party begins, giving you extra park time before the festivities start. We spent the day in the park, went to the hotel to change and then went back before the start of the party. This worked well and gave us some time to relax in the room before starting the late night.
Prioritize Entertainment
The parade, fireworks, and Hocus Pocus stage show are exclusive to the party and should be your top priorities.
Save Room for Snacks
The specialty food is one of the best parts of the event. Skip a large dinner and snack your way around Magic Kingdom instead.
Wear a Costume
This is one of the only times adults can wear Disney costumes inside Magic Kingdom, making the party even more fun. Our first time, my kid wore Star Wars costumes and we were pulled aside by a Disney cast member and he escorted us in to a special roped off section where we got chairs and a front row seat to parade. It was priceless.
